How to make a hemodialysis reservation

3.Acceptance decision
We will contact you with a decision within approximately 1 week
4.Reservation confirmation and payment
50,000 JPY per session (tax included)
※If you have a Japanese public health insurance card, insurance coverage may be applied
※For patients with Japanese public health insurance, an interpreting fee of 5,500 JPY per day will be charged separately

5. Visit our hospital for hemodialysis
What to bring to dialysis
For patients with Japanese public health insurance:
・Japanese public health insurance card
・Medical care certificate (if you have one)
For patients without Japanese public health insurance:
・Photo ID (passport, etc.)
On the day of dialysis
1.Check-in at the First Visit counter 【初診受付】
※Please arrive 1 hour and 15 minutes before your scheduled dialysis for registration and dialysis preparation
Please tell our staff that you have a dialysis appointment, and your scheduled time.
(You do not need to take a number ticket.)
Please complete the registration form.

2.Go to the Dialysis and Apheresis Unit

3.Dialysis and Apheresis Unit
- Sign the consent form
- Temperature check
- Start dialysis
4.After dialysis, go to the Billing counter

Interpreting Services
- Support is provided with remote interpretation services
- Interpretation is available in more than 20 languages, including English, Chinese, Vietnamese, Burmese, and Nepali
Frequently asked questions
Can I use health insurance?
If you have Japanese public health insurance, you are eligible for coverage.
Can I use travel insurance?
If dialysis is covered under your policy, travel insurance can be used. However, if you want your travel insurance company to make a direct payment, a Guarantee of Payment (GOP) must be sent from your insurance company to our hospital before the day of your dialysis.
*If the Guarantee of Payment (GOP) does not reach us by the day of dialysis, out-of-pocket payment will be required on the day of treatment.
Is emergency hemodialysis possible?
We currently do not provide emergency hemodialysis.
